A pair of regal looking silver dangling earrings with natural pale yellow, smoky, polished cabochon gemstones - possibly selenite or very old amber. The gemstones sit in accented bezel settings. The silver setting is expertly hand crafted, with intricate detail. The hallmarks on these earrings are Soviet / USSR. These particular markings date circa 1900s-1920s. Hallmarks include the soviet hammer and sickle surrounded with a star, the number '916', and 1СЮ. Very well preserved and in almost flawless condition. Not only are these beautiful and finely crafted, but also an excellent historical collector's pair!
